Charter Types

Every kind of day, done the right way.

Pick the closest fit and we will build the day around it.

Every day on the water has a different vibe. A sunset cruise is not a bachelorette party. A fishing trip is not a wedding. We tailor each charter to what you actually want, and that starts with picking the right kind of day.

Below is a quick look at every type of charter we run. Click any of them for details, sample routes, and pricing ranges.

Sunset Cruise

The classic Hamptons charter. Two to three hours on the water as the sun drops behind the North Fork. Champagne, a light snack, and jaw dropping light. We usually leave Sag Harbor around 6 pm in summer and cruise past Cedar Point Lighthouse, Shelter Island, and back.

Great for couples, small groups, first date charters, and low key celebrations. Budget starts around $850 for a small boat, up to $4,000 for a bigger yacht.

Bachelorette Party

The most fun day of the week for us. Bring your crew, bring your playlist, bring the sashes. We handle the boat. Bigger sport yachts or event yachts are the move here. We can add a stewardess, catering, and even a photographer if you want.

Popular route is Sag Harbor to a sandbar swim stop, then a slow cruise past Shelter Island, then back for a Long Wharf dinner. Or push out to Montauk for the full day version.

Corporate Charter

For team offsites, client entertaining, and executive retreats. Usually a full day on a sport yacht or event yacht. Catering, stewardess, and a set agenda if the client wants one. We handle all the logistics so the host can be present.

We often run corporate days out of Sag Harbor for firms weekending in the Hamptons. We can also handle pickup from a client's private dock. Discreet, on time, professional.

Family Day

Kid friendly boat, catamaran or wider sport yacht, calm water route, and lots of swim stops. We bring kid life jackets, floaties, and a big tube. If you have grandparents on board, we pick a boat with easy dock access and a shaded lounge.

Popular routes include Sag Harbor to the Cedar Point beach, Shelter Island to Crescent Beach, and Napeague Harbor for the shallow water crowd.

Fishing Trip

Bay fishing for fluke, striped bass, porgies, and sea bass. Offshore trips for tuna and mahi in the summer. We run out of Sag Harbor for bay trips and out of Montauk for offshore trips. Rods, tackle, and bait included. We clean and bag your catch at the end of the day.

Half day and full day options. Great for a father son trip or a group of friends who want to actually catch something.

Proposal Charter

We help you nail the moment. Sunset cruise, a private cove, and we hang back so it feels just like the two of you. We can pre stage flowers, champagne, and a photographer on board or on a nearby boat. We have helped set up more than a few of these. All of them have said yes so far.

Sandbar Day

The most popular summer charter. Full day trip out to a sandbar anchor up. Amagansett, Napeague, or Crescent Beach off Shelter Island depending on wind and crowds. Bring a floating cooler, water toys, and a group of friends. We anchor, drop the swim ladder, and set up the sound system.

Best on catamarans and mid size sport yachts. Add a Seabob or jet skis for the day and thank us later.

Fireworks Charter

Fourth of July is our busiest day of the year. We run fireworks charters for the Sag Harbor show, the Montauk show, and the East Hampton show. Book early. Fourth of July sells out by early May every year without fail.

Same setup for other holiday shows and the Sag Harbor Ambrose Clark Bay Regatta.

Frequently asked questions

Can I mix charter types in one day?+

Yes. A full day charter can easily combine a fishing morning, a sandbar lunch, and a sunset cruise home. Just tell us the mix when you book.

Which charter type is best for first timers?+

A sunset cruise or a half day cruise. Short, easy, and a great intro to the boat and the water. Most first timers rebook within the same season for something bigger.

Do you do dinner cruises?+

Yes. We can pair a sunset cruise with an onboard dinner from a local Sag Harbor or East Hampton kitchen. Or we can drop you at a dockside restaurant on Shelter Island and pick you up after.

Which charter type sells out fastest?+

Fireworks charters (especially July 4), followed by bachelorette Saturdays in July and August, and wedding weekends. Book those four to eight weeks out at least.

Can you do a themed charter?+

Yes. Pirate parties, disco cruises, decade themes, we have done it all. Tell us the theme when you book and we will help set the boat up to match.
