Bachelorette
The full sandbar day, done right.
Bachelorette charters are the busiest thing we run in July. The right boat has shade, a real sound system, and a swim platform low enough to actually swim off. We handle bluetooth playlists, floating mats, a photographer if you want one, and catering that is not a sad tray of sandwiches. Groups run six to fourteen. Four to eight hours. We recommend a sandbar afternoon into a sunset cruise, and dinner reservations back on the wharf. We reply within two hours and can hold your date while your crew figures out flights.
Sample day
- 12:00 pmBoarding at Long Wharf.
- 12:30 pmSandbar afternoon. Music, mats, snacks.
- 4:00 pmSlow cruise, refreshments, photos.
- 6:30 pmSunset run past Cedar Point.
- 8:00 pmReturn to wharf.
Recommended boats
You have one shot at your best friend's last big trip. Do not spend it in a loud bar. A bachelorette yacht charter in the Hamptons gives your group a full day on the water with music, drinks, water toys, and photos that beat anything you would get on land.
We are Captains Carter and Sean. We run bachelorette trips out of Sag Harbor all summer. We have done big groups, small groups, quiet groups, and the ones that show up in matching outfits at 10 a.m. with a full plan. We can roll with any of it.
What makes a great bachelorette on the water
A Hamptons bachelorette party works best when you plan for three things. A good playlist, a photo plan, and time for the group to just hang.
The playlist sets the day. Send us your Spotify link ahead of time. Our boats have real speakers, not phone speakers. When the right song comes on at the sandbar, that is the moment everyone remembers.
The photo plan matters too. Golden hour hits hard on Peconic Bay. If you want a pro photographer for part of the day, we set it up. If you just want your friend with the good camera to run the show, we know all the spots to stop for the best light.
Then the hang. The best bachelorette trips have a mix. Some dance time. Some float time on a big pink flamingo. Some snack time. A stop at a beach or a waterfront restaurant. Do not pack the day too tight. Water time is slow time.
A sample bachelorette day with us (hour by hour)
Here is a full day plan for a Hamptons bachelorette yacht charter. Adjust as you like.
- 11 a.m. Pick up at Sag Harbor. Load up drinks, food, and bags. Group photo on the dock. Safety chat.
- 11:30 a.m. Cruise out with a hype playlist. First drinks. First round of photos.
- 12:30 p.m. Anchor at the Cedar Point sandbar or a calm cove. Drop the floats. Music up. Swim, float, and chill.
- 2 p.m. Lunch on board. Catering platters or your own spread. Cake or cupcakes if it is the bride's birthday too.
- 3 p.m. Water toys. Paddleboards, giant floats, a lily pad, or a tube ride if you booked it.
- 4:30 p.m. Move to a new spot. Optional stop at a waterfront bar or restaurant.
- 6:30 p.m. Sunset run. Best photos of the day. Bride front and center.
- 7:30 p.m. Back at the dock, or add time for a full night.
Best boats for a bachelorette
Group size drives the boat pick.
- 4 to 8 friends: A mid size day boat or cruiser. Fast, fun, and easy on the budget.
- 8 to 20 friends: A larger yacht with sun pad space, shaded seating, and a head on board. This is our most popular bachelorette size.
- 20 to 85 friends: Our 122 ft event yacht. Full bar, dance floor space, catering ready, and room for a real party.
If you have never chartered before, email us your group size and the vibe you want. We match you fast.
What to bring and wear
Pack light and pack smart.
- Swimsuits and cover ups. Most groups match on Instagram.
- Sunscreen and a hat.
- Soft sole shoes or bare feet only.
- A waterproof phone pouch if you want photos in the water.
- Cash for tips.
- A sash, veil, or fun props for the bride if you want.
Leave glass bottles on shore. We stock plastic cups. Cans and pouches are the move.
Add-ons that pair well with a bachelorette
This is where the day goes from good to great.

- Bar package: Pre-stocked cocktails, wine, seltzers, and champagne for the toast.
- Stewardess: A crew member to pour drinks, plate food, and take group photos so no one is left out.
- Water toys: Tube rides, paddleboards, a giant lily pad, and pool floats.
- Photographer: A pro for 2 hours to shoot the sandbar and sunset.
- Decor: A small balloon setup or a custom banner for the bride.
See the full list on our [add-ons page].
Pricing and how it works
Bachelorette trips are priced by boat and by hour, not by head.
- Half day (4 hours) works for smaller groups on a budget.
- Full day (6 to 8 hours) is what most bachelorette groups book.
- Add hours by the hour if the day is going great.
We send a flat text quote with tax and fuel included. A 50 percent deposit locks the date. Balance is due the week of the trip.
Booking tips
- Book 6 to 12 weeks out for July and August. Bachelorette weekends fill first.
- Fridays and Saturdays go fast. Sundays are calmer and often cheaper.
- Send us your headcount early. The right boat books up quick.
- Group the add-ons in one text. It saves back and forth.
