What To Include When You Reach Out
The more you tell us up front, the faster we can send a real quote. Here is what helps.
- Your name
- Date and start time you want
- Number of guests, including any kids
- Type of day (sunset, sandbar, fishing, event, etc.)
- Where you are staying so we can pick a good pickup dock
- Any special requests (catering, watersports, birthday, etc.)
That is it. You do not need to fill out a form or answer 20 questions. A three sentence text is plenty.
Where To Meet Us
Sag Harbor Home Dock
Our primary boarding spot is Long Wharf in Sag Harbor. When you book, we send you a pin with the exact slip number, since it can change based on the boat. Give yourself 15 minutes at the dock before your start time to load coolers and gear.
Alternate Pickup Docks
We can often pick up at other East End docks depending on the boat.
- East Hampton: Three Mile Harbor Marina
- Montauk: Montauk Marine Basin or Gosman's Dock
- Shelter Island: Coecles Harbor Marina or Dering Harbor
- Southampton: North Sea Marina or Halsey Neck
- Greenport: Mitchell Park Marina
Tell us where you are staying and we will pick the closest good dock. Some pickups add a short run over from Sag Harbor, which is included in the quoted time.
Parking For Sag Harbor Boarding
Parking in Sag Harbor in July and August is a real thing. Here is the honest guide.
Long Wharf Lot
Right next to our boarding spot. Fills by 10 am on summer weekends. Metered, expensive, but the easiest option.
Municipal Lot Behind Main Street
A five minute walk to Long Wharf. Usually has openings past the noon rush. Free with a resident sticker, metered otherwise.
Marine Park Lot
About a ten minute walk. Usually the best bet on a Saturday. Bring a wagon if you have a lot of coolers.
Rideshare
If your group is doing serious drinking on the trip, Uber or Lyft into town is smart. We can help arrange a car service for the trip home if you ask when you book.
Drop Off
The easiest option. Have your group get dropped at the head of Long Wharf. We can help load coolers from the curb.
Office Hours
We are on the water most days, so we do not keep a walk in office. If you want to see a boat before booking, we can usually arrange a dockside look on a weekday morning. Just email us to set it up.
Ready To Book?
Email us right now.. Tell us what you have in mind. We will get you on the water.
Frequently asked questions
What is the fastest way to reach you?+
Text. Every time. We answer texts within 15 minutes during the day and always within two hours. Phone calls and emails are answered too, but text is the way to lock in a date fast.
Do you have a physical office I can visit?+
No walk in office. We are on the water. But we can arrange a dockside boat tour on weekday mornings during the season if you want to see a boat before booking.
Where is your main boarding dock?+
Long Wharf in Sag Harbor. When you book, we send a pin with your exact slip. Arrive 15 minutes early to load gear.
Can you pick us up from our rental house?+
If your rental has a private dock in Peconic or Gardiners Bay, often yes. Send us the address and we will check the water depth and access. Otherwise we pick up at a nearby public dock.
What is the best parking option near Sag Harbor?+
The municipal lot behind Main Street is usually your best bet on a summer weekend. Or get dropped at the head of Long Wharf. On the busiest days, plan for a 10 minute walk from parking to the boat.
